On May 18, 2014, the next stage of the Grand Prix Berkut professional mixed martial arts tournament was held in the Chechen Republic as part of the Absolute Championship Berkut fighting league.
The ACB fighting championship featured about a hundred fights in seven weight categories, after which all the semi-finalists of the Grand Prix Berkut 2014 were determined.
There were also forced substitutions.
Due to injuries, Mukhamed Kokov (-70.3 kg), Ustarmagomed Gadzhidaudov (-77.1 kg) and Igor Litoshik (-93 kg) dropped out of the tournament at the semi-final stage.
Mukhamed Kokov was replaced by his teammate, the champion of the North Caucasus Federal District in combat sambo Rustam Bogotov. He met Ali Bagov in the semi-finals of the Grand Prix Berkut.
Belarusian fighter Igor Litoshik, who broke his arm, was replaced by his compatriot Nikolai Boyarchuk. He ended up facing off against Gadzhimurad Antigulov from Makhachkala.
