Gill comes into this bout off the back of an upset victory, stopping Michael Conlan on away soil by seventh-round stoppage and looks for a shot at world honours after establishing himself in the super-featherweight division. Barrett headlines the Manchester Arena for the first time against Gill, and it will be his third fight back since coming up short in a world title fight against Shavkatzdhon Rakhimov.
