Alex "Beaver" Santiago faced Jose "El Tigre" Cayetano in a 10 round super bantamweight bout on September 16, 2016 on PBC on Bounce. Both fighters came out eager to battle. Alex Santiago was able to tag his opponent often in round 2, landing combinations while mixing it up from head to body. Jose Cayetano was ale to find success in the later rounds, standing toe to toe with Cayetano and land punches more often with more success. Cayetano would leave himself open for shots and would get tagged by Santiago, but Cayetano would have a counter for everything his opponent through his way. The constant movement by Cayetano made it hard for Santiago to keep a handle on his opponent. Round 5 being the best round of the fight, Cayetano nearly drops Santiago to the canvas by a menacing counter left. Overall, Cayetano picked up the pace and had more success as the fight progressed in to the later rounds. His efforts granted him the UD over the favorited Santiago. Visit PremierBoxingChampion
