John Molina Jr. stepped back in the ring for the first time since his loss to Adrien Broner on March 7th, 2015, to face Jorge Romero at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, TX on November 28, 2015. The scheduled 10-round fight was broadcast live on NBC as part of the Premier Boxing Champions series. From the very first round, it was clear that Molina Jr. wanted to close the show having thrown and landed multiple power shots. There was no shortage of action in round 2 either as both fighters traded multiple blows. By the end of the second round, both fighters were still on their feet, however Romero was showing serious signs of wear. In round 3, the relentless onslaught by Molina Jr. continued, and with over 2 minutes still left in the round, Romero can barely stand and is unable to defend himself.
