Undefeated super welterweight World Champion Jermell Charlo successfully defends his WBC belt with a majority decision win against former titleholder Austin Trout. Charlo outmuscled Austin Trout to the tune of a 12-round majority decision in the co-featured bout on the Leo Santa Cruz-Abner Mares fight.
