Heavyweight prospect Joe Joyce battled Iago Kiladze in a scheduled 10-round bout on September 30, 2018, from the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California, live on FS1 as part of the Premier Boxing Champions series. Joyce quickly took control of the fight, dropping Kiladze early in round two. Kiladze recovered but was sent to the canvas again in the third round. Joyce knocked Kiladze for a third time in round five, at which time Kiladze removed his mouthpiece and surrendered. Joyce was declared the winner via 5th-round knockout.
