The rest of the round played out with even exchanges. Round two had unrelenting aggression from both fighters with both giving their all in strong and accurate combinations with Martinez scoring well with multiple kicks. Round three was again filled with powerful combinations by each with Martinez mainly landing kicks and Freeman mostly working his punches. The scorecards were totaled and the winner by unanimous decision was Josh Martinez.
